Registered Nurse (Palliative Care) - JohannesburgOur client who is based in Johannesburg is seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse for their adult palliative and frail care facility.
The ideal candidate should have experience in caring for terminally/seriously ill patients & patients with chronic conditions.Duties & Responsibilities:Nursing activities carried out complying with SANC regulationsMaintain all health, safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe patient environmentEffective utilization of resourcesEffective maintenance of equipmentAccurate record keepingContinued education of patientsBuild effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel to ensure quality patient careGeneral registered nursing dutiesEnsure tidiness and cleanliness of workspacesHandle ECG, Injections, Vitals and IV fluidsWound careQualification and requirementsRegistered Nursing qualificationBasic Life Support course (advantageous)Valid SANC registrationExperience in adult palliative and frail care is essentialSkills and attributes:Professional communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsWell-presented and professionalCalm demeanourPatient centricAttention to detailHours:12-hour shifts per planned scheduleStart Date:ASAPOnly candidates who meet all the minimum requirements stipulated in the advert, will be considered.
