Registered Midwife - Maternity UnitWell established hospital looking for a Registered Midwife for their Maternity Unit.
You could make a difference as a Maternity Nurse with your holistic care of patients in Maternity.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPractices patient care according to his/her Scope of Practice and assumes total responsibility for these activities.Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately.Attend handover of report at shift commencement in Maternity.Promote patient health and wellbeing.Promote and maintain good public relations with patients, relatives, and visitors.Execute all procedures according to hospital standards.Mentoring and supervision of junior healthcare providers and support staff.Desired Experience & QualificationMust have a Diploma in General Nursing.Registration with the South African Nursing Council.Registered Midwife.2 years previous experience in a Labour Department advantageous.Thorough knowledge of general/specialized nursing theory and practice.Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles and practices in the highly specialized field.Attach: CV in word format, Certified qualification documents, Certified ID, Driver's License, Work Visa/RTW (if applicable), Head and shoulder colour photo, Latest Salary slip.If you do not hear from us within two weeks, consider your application unsuccessful.
