Registered Nurse

Our client is looking for a Registered Nurse to join them in the Healthcare IndustryAre you a person that enjoys offering treatment and support for people struggling with mental health challenges?Do you care about the wellbeing of people and like to motivate people?You will work in an environment where you will be expected to:Deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the scope of practiceAssess, observe, monitor and provide information about patient health and behavior to the rest of the IDT teamProvide a safe and supportive physical and psychological environmentManage and educate patients around important aspects with regards to prescribed medicationSupport patients with processing of therapy interventions during their daily scheduleFacilitate patient compliance with regards to therapy activities and the daily scheduleAware of Mental Healthcare act no 17 of 2002You will form part of a nursing team that work together with Psychiatrists, Psychologists and other clinicians to combine their efforts efficiently and effectively, and in so doing so achieve consistently good outcomes for patients placed in our careEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAININGDiploma or Degree in General Nursing Science with Psychiatry would be advantageousRegistered with SANCExperience within a Mental Health environment/experience with Mental Health patients and conditionsExperience/knowledge in substance use disordersKEY COMPETENCIESCommunication CollaborationAnalysis & decision makingSafety and QualityInitiative-takingFlexibilityWillingness to changeHumilityCuriositySelf-disciplinePerseveranceShould you not receive any response within 2 weeks please consider your application unsuccessful.
