Main duties of the jobAs a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required.
You will observe all instructions and act on the Manager's behalf, ensuring high standards of care for the residents.
Your responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident conditions, as well as effectively deploying and supervising the care team.

Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst you ensure high standards of care to our residents.
Other responsibilities will include:

Our ideal candidate must:
Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
