Registered Nurse High Care Experienced - Life Eugene Marais HospitalA vacancy exists for a Registered Nurse-High Care Experienced in ICU 1 based at Life Eugene Marais Hospital, reporting to the Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic and optimal quality nursing care to critically ill patients in order to maximize a positive outcome for the customer in line with Company & Hospital strategic objectives.

Maintaining a safe and holistic patient environment to enforce infection controlPromoting a safe and healthy working environment by completing SHEQ alerts and incident reports to the SHEQ CoordinatorEnsuring effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders by:
Conducting in-service orientation on doctor specific preferencesExecuting doctor's requests and prescriptions after patient roundsAssisting multi-disciplinary team members with the execution of their dutiesEnsuring the effective functioning of equipment and instrumentation by:
Checking equipment and instrumentation are in working condition daily and reporting any defaults to the Unit Manager and Clinical EngineerEducating and supervising staff and doctors on the correct utilization of specialized equipment and instrumentationEnsuring effective record keeping by:
