Critical Outputs Effective cost management of staff and stock byEvaluating employee labour hours and manage debit and credit hoursMinimising unnecessary stock wastage and facilitating maintenance of equipmentProviding quality patient care byIdentifying and ensuring staff undergo department specific micro orientationEnsuring daily care rounds are conducted and investigation of complaints.Providing accurate, appropriate and adequate information to patients and family members during hospitalizationProviding effective risk management (SHEQ & infection control) byMonitoring and implementing preventative measures to minimize riskComply with ISO requirements in order to facilitate infection controlConducting effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersIdentifying doctor's preferences and stakeholders needs and implement in the working environmentSupporting the Unit Manager in management functions of the unitIn the absence of the Unit Manager taking charge of the unit.
