The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the corporate sales strategy and developing and implementing a strategic business plan to meet the regional objectives.
This role involves leading all distribution-related activities for national accounts, developing a strategic business plan for targeted lines of business, and ensuring the territory meets sales goals.
The RVP will also provide leadership and development to territory personnel, monitor and evaluate performance, and make decisions regarding the team's progress, feedback, and any necessary changes.
Candidates for the Regional Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for an advanced degree, and at least 10 years of related experience.
The role requires advanced knowledge of individual and group products, strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to analyze and deliver information effectively.
Extensive voluntary insurance product knowledge, industry expertise, and superior interpersonal and problem-solving skills are also essential.
