Job DescriptionOur client, a market leader in the Medical Devices Industry, has a vacancy for a Regional Sales Manager, based in Gauteng.
This role reports into the Business Unit Director of the Sports Medicine Division and is responsible for the achievement of the company objectives and management of the relevant region in South Africa.
Duties and Responsibilities: Achieve sales targets as agreed for the year.Monitor service levels within the region.Provide recommendations for the improvement of performance levels and the attainment of strategic objectives with the region.Provide regular feedback on competitive activity within the region.Build relationships with key opinion leaders.Have a working relationship with all departments.Attend sales meetings, conferences, symposiums, workshops and other related activities.Education and Experience: Matric.Degree within the Faculty of Health Sciences e.g.
Physio / Sports Medicine.Minimum 8 years post qualifying sales experience of which 5 years must be medical / pharma sales.Minimum 2 years Sales Management experience in the Medical or Pharmaceutical field.Extensive knowledge of the Medical Devices Industry.Demonstrated track record of expertise and career progress within the medical devices landscape and the ability to develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
