For over 35 years, The Group has been leading the field in total laundry solutions and we pride ourselves on being South Africa's Industrial Laundry of choice.Purpose of the Role:This position is responsible for overseeing the marketing duties of the business's regional sales, promotions, collections, and other activities to achieve sales targets. Coordinate with the sales team to plan promotional activities, trade shows, and special events. Develop creative sales techniques and tactics to meet business goals and prepare sales contracts, proposals, and reports for management and customers.EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSEssential requirements:Grade 12/NQF level #4 or equivalentBachelor's Degree (Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration)Requirements:3 years' experience in a Sales Management position with exposure in hospitality/service-related industries.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSALES AND MARKETINGPlan, develop, implement and evaluate advertising/merchandise/trade promotions programmes and develop field sales action plans.Perform tasks related to the sales and marketing efforts delegated by the relevant person.Improve product marketability and profitability by performing market research and competitor analyses.Meet sales and marketing financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing an annual budget.Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.Responsible for the overall coordination, functional management, and leadership of the new sales activities.Perform any other tasks related to the furthering of business interests.LEADERSHIP / SALES TEAMSManage and provide direction to sales teams to ensure organisational goals are met.Conduct staff performance reviews and take corrective actions when required.Communicate with staff regularly to discuss targets and performance.Identify training gaps and provide training and development as needed.STRATEGIC PLANNINGResponsible for the development and execution of regional action plans to achieve sales targets.Compile, monitor, and control all budgets and budget requirements.Set strategic business goals in line with business strategy and objectives.FINANCECompile and monitor budgets and provide strategic input.Keep abreast of organizational changes and implement strategies accordingly.Identify when cost targets are not met and develop solutions.CUSTOMER SERVICESBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients and ensure high customer satisfaction.Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve customer complaints effectively.ADMINISTRATIONCompile reports for management regarding accounts, contacts, activities, and leads.Analyse administrative system requirements and develop necessary systems.Review customer relation management system to ensure effective client engagement.Package & RemunerationR 35 000 - R 40 000 - Monthly
