Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and implement a regional sales strategy in alignment with the national sales goals and objectives.Drive the achievement of sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and market share.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.Analyze sales performance data and reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Dealer Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers within the region, ensuring they are supported in achieving their sales targets.Conduct regular visits to dealerships to assess performance, provide training, and address any challenges.Oversee dealer network expansion and optimization, ensuring coverage in key markets and alignment with Mahindras brand standards.Work closely with dealers to develop and execute local marketing and promotional activities.Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales excellence.Set clear performance goals for the sales team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing coaching and feedback.Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless after-sales support and service delivery.Budgeting & Financial Management:Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.Monitor and control expenses within the region, ensuring alignment with the companys financial goals.Provide regular financial reports to senior management, including sales forecasts, budget variance analysis, and profitability assessments.Reporting & Analytics:Prepare and present detailed sales reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.Utilize data and analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.Qualifications and Experience:Education:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.Experience:Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales management role within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.Extensive experience in dealer network management and customer relationship management.Strong knowledge of the regional automotive market, including key players, trends, and customer preferences.Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders.Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
