Regional Sales Manager

Minimum requirementRelevant Bachelors degree.Charismatic and motivated personality.Ability to lead and motivate the Salesforce and Distributors to drive sales performance.Minimum of 5 years experience as a manager within a regional level in retail/distribution industry.Able to travel within the african continent.Display a strong customer-service orientation.Display an indepth understanding of the Direct Sales industry, customer needs and competition.Strong analytical skills.Out of the box thinker.Display data-driven decision-making.Strong collaboration skills.Strong communication and ability to build relationships to interact with all stakeholders of the business.Strong drive for results.Ability to coach and guide salesforce members.Valid drivers license.Duties and responsibilities:Main DutiesMonitor performance of the various Distributors to achieve sales goals.Set performance standards for the region.Conduct quarterly business reviews with all distributors to review their performance.Conduct training initiatives to drive retention within the distributor business.Lead with clear Sales KPIs every quarter as champion.Drive leadership development plans to improve manager growth count.Deliver a geographical mapping by top 100 suburbs in each distributor geography.Deliver and achieve a penetration plan by top 100 suburbs for each Salesforce level.Review all distributors KPI`s with corrective actions and support in the monthly Strategy review.Monthly Business Reviews to be finalised with the distributors including contact reports circulated 24 hours after the meeting.Prioritise distributor cost and profitability management.Accountable for distributor succession and changeovers.Ensure monthly tracking of achievers of company trips and where applicable, implement corrective action.Be instrumental in putting the monthly launch pack together.Collaborate with Events to deliver exciting Salesforce trips and events.Collaborate with finance on monthly vehicle programs to maintain cost reduction.Ensure optimal management of defectives and incentives at distributors.
