Mission: As a Regional Sales Manager - RGD, you will lead the sales and marketing strategies for the Rock Tools business line, focusing on achieving revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
You will manage and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring a safe, sustainable, and innovative working environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety, Sustainability, and Leadership: Foster a culture of safety, health, and environmental consciousness.
Drive gender diversity and equal representation within the team.
Promote sustainability by integrating it into business solutions.
Act as a role model for Epiroc's values and business code of conduct.
Set goals and KPIs for employees and conduct performance appraisals.Growth and Strategy: Lead the RGD sales team to achieve business objectives and increase market control.
Develop and refine RGD sales strategies within the context of broader company goals.
Expand the customer base by onboarding new clients and enhancing relationships with existing ones.
Implement Territory Management Strategies (TTM) to optimize sales across the region.Operational Excellence: Drive profitability through strategic pricing and cost efficiencies.
Manage working capital with a focus on inventory and receivables.
Maintain compliance with company processes and policies ('The Epiroc Way').
Oversee the region's Profit and Loss (P&L) for the RGD Division.
Provide support for sales activities, including quotations, product applications, tenders, and marketing materials.RequirementsQualifications and Skills:Experience: 5–10 years of experience in sales and business development within the drilling/mining industry.
Strong technical knowledge of rock tools and aftermarket services.
Proven track record in sales and team management.
Experience in fostering a positive safety culture and maintaining customer relationships.Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
Ability to mentor and motivate teams across diverse geographical regions.
Strong focus on employee engagement and organizational efficiency.
Computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., SalesForce).
Willingness to travel extensively as required.Education: Grade 12 required.
