You will be responsible for:Driving and achieving sales volumes, distribution, pricing, stock pressure, and forwarding display objectives in accordance with expected standards.Having a passion for sales, integrity, being highly motivated, and driving for results.Duties & ResponsibilitiesYou must be able to deliver on the following:Volumes and Market SharesAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume targetsIdentify volume opportunitiesIdentify problem areas and implement corrective stepsManage pricing as per standardsMonitor opposition activity and implement reactive and proactive stepsAchieve availability targetsFinancial Control and CreditManage expense accounts as per agreed standardsEnsure that all discounts offered fall within the defined parametersManage promo activation and stock budgetCommunicate all credit risks and irregularities in trade to ManagementEnsure timely return of Pods and credit notesPeople Management and Personal DevelopmentEnsure each member of staff has a job description and a clear understanding of all expectationsHold monthly meetings with each staff member to discuss individual performance and objectivesConduct annual performance reviewsAssess staff's training needsOrganise team building and goal-setting sessionsPromotionsEnsure correct implementation of promotional strategyDesign and implement innovative promotionsProvide promotional feedbackEnsure promotions plan is effectively implemented as per targets setDesired Experience & QualificationDegree/Diploma in Sales Management6 years related sales experienceStrong leadership and people skills, effective communication, sales and negotiation skills, time management, ability to create sales plans and administrative reportingPassionate about sales, integrity, highly motivated, able to use initiative, results-driven
