Regional Retail Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:Grade 12 (Non-negotiable)Diploma/Degree in Retail or Business ManagementEXPERIENCE:Minimum of 5 years experience working in a retail environmentMinimum of 3 years' experience in a Managerial roleKNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:Knowledge and experience in management of: Inventory/stock, buying, staff, products merchandising, costs and profitability of the storeKnowledge of stock management systems like ERP, Meat matrix, etcKnowledge and understanding of the FMCG environment and related legislationManagement of perishable products with short shelf life especially in the meat industryUnderstanding of retail consumer behaviour and purchasing trendsUnderstading of the retail and meat marketSKILLS REQUIRED:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in MS Office SuiteDemonstratable analytical skillsUnderstanding of income statements, cash flows, stock management reporting, and all basic financial systemsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectivelyExceptional customer service and people management skillsUnderstanding of HR and IR policies and processes
