Purpose of the Position
Assist the Regional Trade Marketing Manager with development, execution and management of the annual trade marketing strategy, in order to drive incremental volume growth and simultaneously reinforce brand equity. The Regional Off Trade Marketing Specialist will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement campaigns that drive customer growth and profitability and increase HEINEKEN Beverages share within Retail and Grocer accounts.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Develop campaigns, catalogues and promotional guardrails to deliver on channel performance:
Develop channel and Group Account Campaigns within guidelines from the Key Account and Channel Manager.
Develop procurement catalogues of relevant merchandising materials for the channel.
Review channel promotions, developing channel-specific promotional insights in relation to shopper flow, category management both in fridge and on shelf.
Execute campaigns, maintain systems and brief execution partners to achieve excellent channel execution in region and accounts:
Manage the OTIF execution of channel and account campaign groups in accordance with activity planning process.
Develop 1 pagers and trade presenters for channel campaigns.
Develop or sign off Executrac briefs for campaigns in Off Trade channel.
Develop execution briefs for third party execution – Engage & Smollan.
Develops internal and external relationships and networks:
Influence and ensure buy-in of the channel campaigns plan with key internal stakeholders (Marketing services, Activity Planning, Channel Managers and Group Account Managers).
Build networks and form strong relationships with important accounts.
Continuously review channel insights and trade innovations:
Create and test innovative campaign and merchandising solutions.
Provide guidance and influence key stakeholders to deliver on channel standards:
Champion integrated activity planning to improve alignment across functions and trade execution.
Champion self-development and growth with increased functional and behavioral competence and performance.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant three year post matric tertiary qualification (degree or diploma).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Minimum 5 years Commercial experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of growing business within large accounts.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
