Metropolitan provides financial wellness solutions that meet the needs of low-income clients, including funeral insurance, health, savings, hospital cash-back cover, retirement solutions, and life insurance.Disclaimer: As an applicant, please verify the legitimacy of this job advert on our company career page.Role PurposeManage and motivate a team of Branch Managers to deliver an excellent client experience and support the achievement of Metropolitan Channel sales targets.RequirementsQualifications:Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualificationFAIS Representative Regulatory Exam Level 5 passedFAIS Representative Regulatory Exam Level 1 passed120 credit FAIS recognised qualificationExperience:3-5 years' working experience in the insurance industry environmentA Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in overseeing the rendering of financial advice to fulfil the duties of a compliant key individual and be registered with the FSPClass of Business 3 and 7 (Preferable)Skills And Knowledge:Relationship buildingNetworkingGood communicationComputer LiteracyFinancial services industry (relevant legislation, product and process knowledge, Class of Business knowledge)People ManagementOther Requirements:Driver's license and own vehicle.Duties & Responsibilities:Implement and manage the operational plans for the region and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.Develop, implement and manage a risk management strategy for the region that drives compliance with relevant legislation.Manage the effective and efficient delivery of all projects impacting the region.Identify entrepreneurial opportunities, trends, threats, and environmental influences related to the region.Manage the Regional sales target and interpret emerging trends and opportunities within the Branches and Regions to enhance sales activities.Ensure a reduction of wastage through the prevention of fraud and resource management.Drive adherence to high ethical standards and ensure legislative and internal compliance within the region.Ensure efficient client service and administration processes are implemented and maintained within the region.Manage and monitor activities of Branch Managers to ensure adequate market access opportunities.Ensure that segmentation insights are used by Branch managers to guide staff in identifying target segment customers.Implement and oversee the effective utilization of the Distribution Management Operating System.Develop and oversee the implementation of sales plans to increase new sales opportunities.Monitor and track Branch performance to ensure productivity and quality targets are met.Provide competitor product feedback to identify sales opportunities.Ensure technical product and legislative knowledge is current to advise on relevant and innovative solutions.Induct, develop, and support Branch Managers to meet performance standards.Recruit, select, and retain high-quality Branch Managers.Coach, mentor, and supervise Branch managers to meet performance standards.Maintain and complete all administrative, client service, and reporting duties timely.Drive awareness of compliance and risk throughout the region.Manage the professional image of the Branches.Check and approve documentation to support the sales process.Analyse profitability within the Region and oversee improvement plans.Report on the sales performance of the Region.Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking.Define innovative client service practices to build rewarding relationships.Engage with stakeholders to identify changing client needs.Manage a client service excellence culture.Manage the introduction of new channels for client interaction.Be a member of and contribute to Professional Bodies and stakeholder groups.Create a positive work climate and culture to energize employees.Develop, implement, and manage a People Capability plan.Identify, attract, appoint, and retain top talent.Demonstrate exemplary leadership behavior.Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Identify employee growth needs and schedule interventions.Effectively manage performance within the team.Ensure employees are recognized and rewarded appropriately.Encourage innovation and collaboration within the team.Implement strategies to retain staff.Monitor staff compliance to FAIS qualification requirements.Implement and compile budgets to minimize expenditure.Control the budget for the area.Manage high-risk financial issues and contribute to policy development.Implement financial risk methodologies and report on activities.Implement risk management and compliance policies.Investigate reported non-compliance to organization policy.Competencies:Business AcumenClient/Stakeholder CommitmentDrive for ResultsLeads Change and InnovationMotivating and Inspiring TeamImpact and InfluenceCollaborationSelf-Awareness and InsightEnquiries: ******
