Regional Manager- Kwa-Zulu Natal

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE The Regional Manager is responsible for managing and evaluating the region's performance according to predetermined targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project timelines.
He/she will provide execution support to each region assigned across a broad range of functions, departments, and structures, providing seamless engagement between the Effectively communicate functional department targets to regional managers in a timely and clear fashion.
Report back on progress towards targets throughout the month.
Provide support to the regional manager at head office across all departments and functions to enable better and improved execution in the region.
Operations Installs Maintenance Projects Scheduling Head Office Stock & Procurement Health, Safety and Vetting Technical & Training Proactively manage changes in the regional scope, ensure that any change to the scope is documented and approved.
Identify potential crises, devise contingency plans.
Plan and facilitate effective regional updates and meetings.
Liaise with business partners including but not limited to Vumatel, Frogfoot, Evotel, Vumacam, and SADV.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members.
Influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Take corrective action if required.
Effectively communicate department expectations to team members and contractors in a timely and clear fashion.
Manage teams and delegate tasks.
Identify and manage department dependencies.
Proactively manage changes in the department scope, ensure that any change to the scope is documented and approved.
Identify potential crises, devise contingency plans.
Adhere to operational procedures to ensure that the regional department runs smoothly.
Plan and facilitate effective department meetings.
Effectively allocate available resources and determine if additional resources will be required.
Manage department costs: forecast vs. actual.
Develop tools and best practices for improved department management.
