Job Summary To take full responsibility of leading, directing and managing the Regional Physical Cash Solution Specialist team. Lead and drive acquisition of new to bank and new to segment of Relationship Banking clients with a primary focus on acquiring new business as well as switching physical cash relationships from competitor banks. Purpose of the role is to build and maintain professional relationships, drive the product client centric portfolio management, and drive sales via sales campaigns, leads and cold calling, and achieve sales targets. Ensure the execution of the sales capability that delivers excellent client service and relationship management for our Physical Cash Solutions, as well as internal business partners. To enable the fulfilment of Physical Cash Value Propositions within the Relationship Banking to drive its long-term vision and strategy.
Job Description Key Accountabilities: People Management: Lead, manage and direct the regional cash solution specialist team in line with Absa values. Coach, mentor and manage team members toward driving business objectives and ensuring colleague development. Revenue on Cash Growth through Sales Enablement: Identify sales opportunities and offer solutions appropriate for the client's needs. Achieve the agreed new business turnover and revenue targets. Implement an individual sales plan that aligns with the regional sales plan. Action all sales leads received from potential cash clients. Negotiate pricing and complete new client agreements prior to implementation. Execute on the regional sales plans to increase client uptake of Physical Cash Solutions. Sales Performance and Execution: Agree on relevant sales plans, campaigns and targets with team manager. Monitor individual sales performance and provide feedback for improvement. Create opportunities for new business by exploring potential client lists. Review national competitor information and market trends regularly. Relationship Management: Reposition Physical Cash regional stakeholder management. Establish stakeholder needs to develop effective engagement plans. Ensure effective relationship management model for top Physical Cash Solution Clients. Customer Experience Execution: Execute on the business unit's Client Experience strategy. Ensure smooth migration and onboarding of new client relationships. Implement improvement initiatives for high-quality standards and client experience. Risk and Compliance Management: Maximize sustainable risk by adjusted portfolio contribution. Review risk and controls that exist in the region. Complete required compliance attestations. Role/Person Specification Preferred Education and Experience Required: NQF level no. 7 5 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment, with 2 - 3 years at management level. 5 years' experience within a client facing role (commercial/financial industry). 5 years proven track record in achievement of sales targets. 5 years relationship management experience in a financial services industry - preferred.
