Responsible for coaching, development and deployment of the strategy for continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Business Resilience across our landside operations. The role collaborates to achieve the aspiration in line with the APMM ESG and Integrator objectives.
Lead team of functional experts spanning Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Business Resilience regionally. Maintain and develop structure and operating system that enables continuous identification and management of risk in order to protect people from serious harm, while securing our customers' cargo and supply chains. Ensure strong cohesion between business and functional needs and objectives, ensuring continuous alignment of activities and priorities. Ensure suitable standards are set that will protect people and protect our customer's supply chains under our care andensure implementation of these standards regionally while considering needed area or country variations for example due to legislation. In collaboration with other teams in S&R and rest of APMM, provide the needed tools and guidance to employees that will reduce or eliminate risks at the frontline. In collaboration with other teams in S&R and rest of APMM, provide assurance at relevant levels to ensure expected standards are being met, and when not the case, ensure there are actions taken to address the gaps. Ensure the HSSE and BR teams within scope are suitably qualified and have the needed skills and training, while continuously improving their competence levels in close collaboration with our People Function. Engage and inspire teams regionally, both those under direct and indirect line management to collaboratively lift the standards across our operations. Create a culture of care and inclusion, where diverse voices are heard and where people feel safe to speak up. Collaborate with other Safety & Resilience leaders within APMM to share and build knowledge and expertise, routinely and constrictively challenging the status quo to lift the bar higher across APMM. Stay connected to industry trends and regularly seek external knowledge and inspiration, to spark innovation in a way that is relevant for our organisational context.
Progression within this stream reflects increasing depth of professional knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to influence others.
A colleague at this level is recognized as an expert within the organization, both within and beyond own function. Holds broad experience of several job areas or mastery in a specific discipline or within a complex function. A colleague at this level may also lead complex projects involving multiple organisations, stakeholders and disciplines.

Leaders at this level adapt and execute own functional or departmental business plans and contribute to the development of parent function or department's strategies. They provide leadership and direction through other leaders and develop people through coaching and mentoring to build organizational capabilities, talent and bench strength.

The location of the posting is still to be determined, but will be within the India, Middle East, Africa (IMEA) region.
