Job Description Regional Facilities Coordinator
This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
The purpose of this position is supports the MFR Regional Facility Manager (RFM) at MFR in New Orleans, specifically to provide a liaison between the Regional Facility Manager and numerous geographically separate and disparate MCRC sites within the US, and the service or agency hosting these MCRC training centers that are not owned by MFR.
The other services may include other branches of the DOD (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard, their reserve components), and others such as the Army National Guard (ARNG), the Air National Guard (ANG), and other commercially leased facilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Regional Facilities Coordinator: $90,000 - $95,000 Pay commensurate with experience.

Regional Facilities Coordinator Responsibilities Include: Liaison between MRF Facilities RFM and MCRC site leadership, unit's chain of command; liaison includes the host service / organization, internal (MSCs) & external commands, agencies, leadership, civilian & military employees, contract employees, and MFR divisions (FAC, G-3,G- 4, G-6, & G-8 departments); Serve as the key RFM representative, between sites, all sections of Facilities, and other sections of MFR for facilities services and maintenance issues and requirements.
Possible services, maintenance issues, and requirements may include the following: facilities maintenance and repair, new construction, equipment installation, facilities planning and programming, space assignments and utilization, grounds, custodial, refuse, pest control, and pavement clearance services; contracting and procurement; physical security and force protection, intrusion detection services and critical infrastructure.
Advises and provides guidance and technical assistance on routine and emergency maintenance matters.
Initiates, manages, provide guidance on facility work tickets for remote sites throughout the respective region utilizing MFR Share Point work ticket system.
Serves a RFM's representative for small and large FSRM projects, up to MILCON level projects, to include new building structures/facilities, installation of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, clearing, excavating, filling, landscaping, and other operations incident to construction.
Review project plans and specifications in cooperations with supporting the Facilities Branch engineers and liaison with unit site leadership; attend construction kickoff and follow-on meetings, site visits; observe and investigate construction at all stages to identify problems, report potential problems, and recommend changes to solve challenges with plans and specifications; monitors project milestones and ensues that completion deadlines are consistently met.
Provide reports and conduct site visits of regional sites and as directed by RFM and MFR Facility Directorate of Facility Operations officer.
Site visits may include the analysis of existing and planned conditions and any recommendations or proposed actions on major deficiencies in existing facilities and equipment.
Prepares weekly synopsis of work in-progress, status of FSRM and MILCON projects, open work request tickets, and all other challenges and issues for all MFR sites in assigned region.
Attends weekly and ad-hoc meetings held by the RFM to review current and emergent facilities service and maintenance challenges and requirements.
Visit substandard or unsafe facilities to assess repairs and modernization needed to meet mission requirements and accommodate equipment.
Provides monthly deliverable reports to site lead.
Travel required (approximately 25%). Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Regional Facilities Coordinator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: A bachelor's degree is preferred, Otherwise, relevant experience required in resume. 5-8 years of construction/facility management experience preferred.
Experience working with US Government construction agencies (NAVFAC/USACE) highly desired. 8-10 years US Military experience in a related position or field is preferred (U.S. Marine Corp. experience is desired). Excellent communication skills, both oral & written Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Demonstrate the ability to carry out support tasks related to facilities operations as presented. Knowledge of fundamentals of facilities maintenance management and planning; technical skills in employing procedures to sustain, repair, modernize all types of facilities.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
