Regional Director / Deputy MD: Freight and Logistics Ref: DSA7000623 DSA Executive on behalf of an established freight and logistics business.
We are currently working on behalf of a leading global freight and logistics business in their search for a new Regional Executive Director.
The role will form part of the new board structure and will be responsible for the continuing growth and development of the business whilst providing clear and strategic leadership to the Regional team in the South.
The role will be fundamental to the operation in the South UK region and will work closely with the UK MD and other regional UK and overseas directors moving forward.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership to the regional team.
Drive growth and development of the business.
Collaborate with the UK MD and other directors.
Manage multimodal freight operations and logistics.
Build and develop strong internal and external relationships.
Minimum Requirements: Experience in International freight and logistics at a senior management or director level.
Knowledge of European and overseas markets.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to travel both within the UK and internationally.
This is a highly important role with opportunities for future progression as the business develops in the UK and worldwide.
