IntroductionOur client requires the services of a Refrigeration Technician to lead and supervise the maintenance and servicing of all refrigeration units.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey performance areas:Installation, maintenance and servicing:Carry out cabinet installations as neededRepair cabinets and service cabinetsResponsible for correct completion, signing and stamping of job cards and delivery notes by customer representativesMake decisions on site about the service or maintenance of the unitsEnsure site is clean when maintenance is completedCarry out duties in strict compliance with Health and Safety standardsResponsible for the reconciliation of expenses related to jobsMinimize and avoid job recallsSupervise all technical staff on siteResponsible for the good conduct of staff at clientsEnsure all staff wear corporate clothing and is well presentedMaintain and care of company assets:Plan maintenance of vehiclesComplete logbook for vehicleEnsure safety of staff and products while driving and parkedEnsure vehicles are always clean and in good conditionEnsure safe keeping of Tools at all timesLiaise with customers on site in a professional mannerEnsure customer satisfaction on completion of taskProvide in-house training and support:Provide technical assistance and support to service partners and assistant techniciansAssist with monthly stock takesEnsure that Helpdesk receive all documentation on time and complete.Desired Experience & QualificationThe successful candidate must have:Matric with a Commercial Refrigeration Mechanic Trade Test will be advantageousAt least 3 years relevant working experience with air-conditioning or refrigeration servicingSafe Handling & Gas Certification will be advantageousComputer literate – (Word, Excel and Outlook)Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Must have working knowledge of Health & Safety requirementsMust have great interpersonal skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be willing to be on StandbyPlease note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.If you do send an email to the recruiter directly: please state the position you are applying forPackage & RemunerationSalary will be discussed during interview stage.
