Purpose of the Role will be to install, maintain and repair the refrigeration systems with minimum downtime to ensure the safety of all personnel through adherence to safe work procedures.Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years post trade test experience in a similar role in an FMCG environment.Qualified Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic.CAT B Ammonia Certification.Knowledge of Freon refrigeration.Job Summary (but not limited to):Ensure that Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration Systems are maintained to perform at optimal levels.Conduct regular plant inspections and routine checks as per schedule.Heat exchangers chilling the water to temperatures at correct flowrates as per setting.Cold storage rooms are maintained and are operating at the required temperatures.Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment as and when required.Adherence to the scheduled servicing of machines compressors, piston compressors and pressure transmitters etc.Assess breakdowns and apply appropriate fault-finding techniques to determine the root cause of failures.Ensure that all installations are done as per drawings.Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.Capturing of job cards in the preventative maintenance system.Planning and implementation of various refrigeration projects and maintenance job-cards.Responsible for housekeeping of work area.Maintenance and housekeeping of own toolbox to 5S standards, a place for everything and everything in its place.Provide technical support and expertise as may be required.Role Capabilities:Good communication skills with the ability to work with others to achieve objectives.High level of professionalism in the physical execution of maintenance tasks.Excellent interpretation skills of failure root cause identification.Sound and proven skills in Planning and Organizing of job-cards and spare part requirements.Email CV to******
