All referrals that require a more complex early help support or have a safeguarding concern will enter through the 'front door' of EHASH.First point of contact for professionals and/or public who want to seek advice and support from EHASH.Review and process early help and safeguarding enquiries and referrals and work to identify the most appropriate level of support needed.Make an assessment of their needs and determine how those needs might best be met, advising the enquirer accordingly.Determine whether an enquirer should be referred for specialist assessment and make appropriate arrangements for this service to be provided.Provide direct advice linked to support and counselling services to enable families to stay together wherever possible.Support social workers in undertaking the most suitable method of intervention, having due regard to the resources available and to plan, implement and evaluate action taken.Liaise and negotiate with other sections of the Service and other colleagues in other statutory and voluntary agencies in pursuit of effective service provision.Create contacts and ensure all information is recorded on contacts as directed by the Team Manager, gathering information to ensure history, relationships, etc., are accurate to allow clear and accurate decision-making and triage.Gather information for different meetings such as High Risk Domestic Abuse meetings, children missing from home, Encompass referrals, to name a few.Requirements:Understanding the role of Social Services and other agencies in the provision of care services.Experience in providing assessment and information to the public.Experience liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies.Ability to maintain accurate records of work.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.Please email all CVs to Sammy Davis or call 02085149110 mobile 07570 819 831.By submitting your details you agree to our T&C's.
