Job Duties:Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and on scheduleDevelop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirementsMonitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategiesCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are metProvide expertise in underground mining operations to support project deliveryUtilise Microsoft Project and PowerBI to track project performance and produce reportsRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in underground mining preferred gold mine experienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in project managementProficiency in Microsoft Project and PowerBIEducation:Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
Experience:Extensive experience in managing underground mining projects
Knowledge and Skills:Strong understanding of underground mining operationsExcellent project management skillsAbility to analyse data and produce meaningful reports using PowerBIEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationMaster's degree in Mining Engineering or related fieldWorking Conditions:This role is based in a mining environment and may require working in underground conditions. Travel to project sites may be necessary.
