With headquarters in London Waterloo and offices in Beijing, Singapore, Sydney, New York, Orlando, Cape Town, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, and Madrid, TGRC is undergoing a period of rapid international growth which is expected to accelerate over the next 18 months.
The Company has recently secured investment to expand and as part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a Manager to head up our Cape Town office.
The purpose of the role is to build and lead a team of dedicated Delivery Consultants, as well as taking a lead in organising and advocating candidate networking for our clients across Europe.
Responsibilities:Lead and build the Cape Town recruitment delivery division with budget for headcount growth as the business expands.Drive the day-to-day activities and performance of a team of 180-degree Recruitment Consultants, who service European based clients.Take responsibility for delivering team sales figures against quarterly agreed budgets.Work with Talent Acquisition and EU Managers to make appropriate hires.Work with Learning & Development to upskill teams.Work with the HQ to devise ambitious but realistic annual division budgets.Set and agree individual quarterly and annual performance objectives for the team.Carry out employee performance reviews and appraisals.Ensure systems are being used and activity is consistently logged.Market map, develop, implement, and execute sales philosophies and strategies, leading to new candidate generation.Source mid to senior level candidates for clients ensuring technical, cultural, and experience fit.Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with internal key stakeholders.Qualifications/Skills:Proven success in hiring, managing, and developing successful recruitment teams.Market knowledge of renewable energy or engineering sectors highly desirable.Ideally 4+ years in agency recruitment.Strong communication skills, written and verbal.Positive attitude and strong team cooperation skills.Ability to multi-task and prioritise.High level of personal motivation and accountability.What we offer you:Opportunity to autonomously run and build the Cape Town office.Support from an experienced business support team covering finance, hiring, on-boarding, learning & development, operations, and marketing.Competitive salary + bonus + uncapped commission structures.Benefits including medical aid, pension, 20 days annual leave + public holidays.Access to a large client database, various job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, budget for industry-specific conferences.Annual incentive trips, charity days, and quarterly team events.
