About the Role


As our Recruitment Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and placing talented individuals in complex and specialist roles within the Core Group and iStore. Your focus will be on proactively sourcing and recruiting top talent to support our continued growth and expansion.


Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand and meet their talent requirements.
Provide Exceptional Candidate Experience: Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging recruitment experience.
Proactive Sourcing: Use a variety of channels and techniques, both traditional and innovative, to identify and engage potential candidates.
Conduct Interviews: Perform confidential interviews to assess candidates' suitability and potential.
Background Checks & References: Verify references and perform background checks to ensure candidates' credibility and integrity.
Present Shortlisted Candidates: Provide hiring managers with comprehensive candidate profiles and insights to aid in decision-making.
Coordinate Assessments: Arrange and manage assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and fit for the role.
Candidate Communication: Manage candidate feedback and ensure timely communication, including regrets.
Develop Recruitment Strategies: Implement creative and effective recruitment strategies, staying ahead of industry trends and utilising new platforms.
Market Awareness: Keep informed of competitor activities and market developments to refine our recruitment approach.
Database Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date recruitment database, ensuring candidate information is clean and organised.


Requirements: 


Qualifications: Matric is required; a tertiary degree would be advantageous.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on recruitment experience, including targeted search, market mapping, and headhunting.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in identifying and attracting top talent.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and current market trends.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Professionalism & Confidentiality: A high level of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work, with strong time management skills.
Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
