Job Title: Recruitment Consultant Location: Mkondeni Pietermaritzburg Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, building strong relationships with clients and candidates, and delivering a high level of service. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their recruitment needs and provide tailored staffing solutions. Candidate Sourcing: Use a variety of channels (e.g., job boards, social media, direct sourcing, networking) to attract top talent for client vacancies. Job Matching: Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure they meet client requirements and organizational culture. End-to-End Recruitment Process: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from taking job briefs, sourcing and interviewing candidates, to managing the offer process and candidate onboarding. Negotiation & Offer Management: Negotiate salaries and terms of employment between clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth offer and acceptance process. Market Expertise: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, labour market conditions, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to both clients and candidates. Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records in the recruitment database, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports on recruitment activity and client satisfaction. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver a high standard of service to both clients and candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base, including meeting potential clients, attending industry events, and cold calling. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or sales (preferably in a recruitment agency setting). Experience in multiple industries is a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure. IT Proficiency: Comfortable with using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing candidate and client information. Educational Background: A degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
