A fast-paced and rapidly growing logistics business in the beautiful city of Cape Town is seeking a highly efficient and detail-oriented Reconciliation Accountant / Bank Administrator / Cashbook Accountant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all local and foreign currency banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.

If you have a degree, strong recon experience in the logistics industry and a growth mindset, then this is the opportunity for you!Responsibilities:Process and reconcile domestic and international banking transactionsManage foreign exchange operations and hedging activitiesCreate and maintain financial reports using advanced Excel functionsHandle ERP system entries for banking operationsPerform daily cash book management and bank reconciliationsSupport month-end financial reporting processesEnsure compliance with banking and accounting proceduresRequirements:BComm degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-2 years of experience in bank reconciliation / cashbook accounting in a logistics environment is non-negotiableHighly efficient reconciliation skillsStrong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyEffective communication and organizational skills
