MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo provide services for the overall functioning of the Reception Area of the mobile breast cancer screening unit. This mobile medical screening unit travels through South Africa and is inherently responsible for educating women in South Africa on the importance of breast cancer screening and breast examination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASProvide a professional reception servicePerform general office administrationAdmissions, bookings and authorisationsREQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION Post Grade 12 qualification in Office Administration, or similarREQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 3 to 5 years' relevant work experienceDESIRED EXPERIENCE Experience in a medical environmentREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEProficiency in EnglishComputer Skills (MS Office suite)Professional style of communication, applicable to both external and internal clientsGeneral office administration: for example, filing, daily cash ups, etc.Excellent skills in interacting with people in a positive and courteous mannerAbility to prioritise tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environmentStrong organising and time management skillsMulti-tasking capability without compromising on qualityProficient in handling office equipment, including telephone systems with multiple linesAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
