Promptly deliver messages to the appropriate staff members.
Address general inquiries received via the switchboard.
Client and Visitor liaison Welcome visitors and clients warmly, offer refreshments and inform internal staff of their arrival.
Assist clients and listeners with telephonic queries.
Maintain a clean, professional, and organised reception area at all times.
Administrative Support Prepare, update, and distribute the station's telephone list.
Manage the booking of meeting rooms and ensure availability.
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as email meeting reminders and handling deliveries.
Log deliveries, process invoices, and manage courier services for prize distribution.
General Office Support Support various departments by assisting with office supplies management, equipment maintenance, and logistical arrangements.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Handle any additional tasks that contribute to efficiently running the office environment.
Team Participation Actively contribute as a valued member of the HR team.
Positively support HR initiatives and station activities.
Take on ad hoc tasks as reasonably expected to meet organisational needs.
Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric (NQF-4) or equivalent qualification.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 1–2 years of prior experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.
Excellent communication and telephone etiquette skills.
Proficiency in English is essential; familiarity with Afrikaans would be advantageous.
