Receptionist Our client a leading provider of high-quality machinery and equipment solutions based in Edenvale, Johannesburg is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth administrative operations at the front desk.
Minimum Requirements Matric. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Receptionist. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively under pressure. Professional appearance and demeanour.
Preferred Skills: Previous experience in the machinery, equipment or engineering sector is advantageous. Experience with office management software or CRM systems.
 Roles and Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner directing them to the appropriate person or department. Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly, taking messages and handling inquiries as needed. Manage and maintain the reception area ensuring it is tidy, welcoming and presentable. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing documents for courier services. Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings as required. Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and record-keeping. Liaise with internal staff, clients and service providers to support day-to-day operations. Maintain office supplies and place orders as necessary and ensuring stock levels are adequate. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Provide support for other team members and departments as needed.
