Job Summary To provide a friendly, efficient and professional reception service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and employees at the Denver MRF. Responsible for all operating activities related to the reception area and to determine the extent to which the building is accessible for visitors. Responsibilities Serve as the contact person for all visitors to the building Receive and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner Notify the relevant company personnel of visitor arrival Complete the visitor logbooks as required Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner Provide any required information to guests, on request Receive courier and other deliveries and distribute it to the right persons / storeroom Responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as the first point of contact for guests and the emergency services Support with administrative tasks Help with filling or copying of documents when requested Assist with additional tasks relevant to the position as requested and as new skill sets have been learned Perform other related duties as required Assist in always keeping the reception area clean and tidy Address cleaning and hygiene of bathrooms Report any maintenance issues immediately to your line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment Maintain security and telephone system Always adhere to all company policies and procedures Maintain personal knowledge by completing training, learnership courses and assessments Reception area and boardroom set up Responsible for all the boardroom bookings and WebEx set up Make all the bookings required and set up the boardroom 30 minutes before a meeting can begin Requirements Grade 12 / matric Previous Receptionist experience is a preference Employment will be implemented in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
