Receiving Clerk | Cape Town | Tile and building industry We are looking for dynamic and competent Receiving Clerk to join our clients' team in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. The successful candidate should be passionate about working in supply-chain and logistics and should have great attention to detail. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08h00 – 17h00, Saturdays 08h00 – 15h00 and alternative Sundays and Public Holidays 9h00 – 14h00.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize the container receiving schedule to plan, organize the receiving requirement for the site Preparing the warehouse space for new shipments Ensure quality checks are done on the incoming containers Receiving and check all stock accurately Labelling all stock Manage all batches for stacking Identify damages, quantify, and advise shipping Capture and prepare the packing slip for GRN Manage the return of empty containers Ensure all returns and received and put away correctly Responsible for housekeeping in designated areas KEY REQUIREMENTS:· Matric; Warehousing or Supply Chain diploma would be advantageous Minimum 3 years in a warehousing environment Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays as required Effective communication skills, written and verbal Attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly Excellent timekeeping and work ethic/attendance record Inventory maintenance and effective space utilization Accurate record-keeping of stock transactions Knowledge of methods for receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials Understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology Salary: CTC will be R6460 – R 9500 Start ASAP To apply for the Receiving Clerk | Cape Town | Tile and building industry position please submit your CV in a word document or PDF via our website ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED Recruit for Africa is a recruitment agency based in South Africa specialising exclusively in hospitality, retail, chefs and lodge placements.
