Real Estate Specialist (Interview)

Our client in the Insurance industry is seeking a Real Estate Specialist - Real Estate to join their team in Sandton. We are inviting suitably qualified persons to apply.The position's purpose is to provide professional real estate services expertise, including short-term and long-term forecasting, research and documentation of data for studies, appraising of property, negotiating terms and conditions of agreements, evaluating economics, and recommending capital expenditures.Principal AccountabilitiesAssist with compiling forecast recommendations by securing and evaluating market data, expansion needs, competitive activity, selecting sites, and estimating sales volumes and costs.Research market and document data for evaluation by obtaining information from external consultants and sources, driving and visiting areas, and completing impact studies.Evaluate economics and recommend the size of capital expenditure through feasibility studies, checking accuracy in figures, and estimating base rent.Negotiate terms and conditions by contacting principals and agents and developing negotiation strategies.Assemble and present proposal packages, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.Control the flow of transactions by directing brokers, property owners, and other professionals.Monitor sales of sites for accuracy of volume estimation and conduct post-opening reviews.Train counterparts in other departments and develop ongoing knowledge of the property market.Qualifications and ExperienceUniversity degree in Property Development, Building/Property Sciences, Town Planning, or Law.Five years of experience in the property field.Self-starter with strong negotiation skills.Salary Range: R500,000.00 (negotiable per annum)Posted 2022-07-12
