Purchasing Local & Import Trims and Fabric
Attend international fabric fairs
Establish new Fabric and trims supplier base
Developing and presenting new fabric and trims in line with international trends and the company vision
Collaborate with the retail design and buying team on future ranges and requirements

Job Description
Our Technical Outdoor and Sports Brand have a new and exciting opportunity available for a Raw materials specialist to join the current Outdoor Innovation Hub as well as work alongside the respective Buying teams. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in overseeing the end-to-end process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic retail environment.
Job Requirements
Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in Textile Design and Construction
5 years of working experience in a similar role within a retail and manufacturing environment is required
Previous experience in managing raw materials within the manufacturing industry is required
Previous experience working in a retail environment is essential
Working knowledge and experience with Omnix, Sync, PLM, or similar management software required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook is required
Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of garment construction/manufacturing within the outdoor and sports industry
A valid driver's license and own mode of transport essential
