Job Overview: Raw materials Planning: Develop and maintain schedules for incoming shipments that meet the production requirements while optimising resources and minimising lead times. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and co-ordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure adequate stock levels to fulfill orders on time. Supplier co-ordination: Liaise with suppliers to procure raw materials and components necessary for production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to maintain raw material quality standards are met from the suppliers. Cost Management: Monitor raw material costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses without compromising quality. Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams and suppliers daily to provide updates on production schedules, order status and any potential issues or delays. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any supplier production-related issues or bottlenecks to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of shipments. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipment schedules, inventory levels, supplier agreements, and other relevant documentation. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance supplier efficiency and quality Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field would be preferred Previous experience in production planning, merchandising, or supply chain management in the textile or manufacturing industry Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills MS Office proficient Sync experience would be beneficial Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and quality standards Strong organizational and time management skills
