Ranger/Wildlife Monitor

Candidate Requirements: Completed FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) with a valid DEAT registration Valid driver's license and PrDP with 4x4 driving experience Valid first aid certificate Must have Advanced Rifle Handling Must be passionate about conservation Must have previous experience as a field guide or in a research/monitoring position Must be fluent in English and have good communication skills, written and verbal Must be computer literate Must be able to work under pressure Must be able to work in a team but also as an individual General duties: Conducting drives with the volunteers to monitor animals General conservation work Creating of identification kits Writing up of reports Conducting fence patrols Processing data from camera traps, data insert and analysis General maintenance Live-in Position with meals
