Quantity Surveyor Manager

Responsible for managing, delivering, implementing, monitoring, and reporting of the WCGDoI programme.The candidate will not be doing QS work but will be managing the professional team on a project and will be doing QS reviews (Payment Certificates, Invoices, Report Reviews, etc.).Minimum Requirements:MUST be professionally registered with the SACQSP and have 3 years post-registration experience (PrQS).MUST have BSc / BTech in QS.MUST have JBCC and NEC contract experience.Duties:Ensuring adherence to cashflow and programme.Drafting and reviewing of cashflow and programme.Liaising with WCGDoI QS Department, meeting the deadlines set out by WCGDoI, driving programme and cashflow for the Management Programme.Managing the Management Programme's cashflow.Meeting deadlines.Keeping the server up to date at all times.Ensuring that all documentation is filed correctly.Managing procurement.Managing consultants' appointments and performance.Managing contractors' appointments and performance.Complying with all processes and protocols.Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC.Checking invoices and their correctness.Professional reviews on Stage QS Reports.Reviews of Final Accounts, Tender Documents, contractors' invoice packs, Payment Certificates, and any other required documentation.Being a member of the Bid Evaluation Committee.Reviews of invoices.Review of appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters.Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed.Any additional administration tasks that may be required from time to time.Knowledge of CIDB, PROCSA, Fee Scales, consultants' appointments.Consultant: Erin Hardy - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes
