The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction projects, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesConducting cost estimates for construction projectsMonitoring project costs and controlling expensesPreparing bills of quantities and tender documentsAnalysing contractual agreements and resolving discrepanciesCollaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholdersConducting cost analysis and value engineering exercisesProviding reports and updates on project budget and cost statusEnsuring compliance with industry regulations and standardsRequirementsCost control, BOQ, Cost management, Cost planning, and Cost reporting skillsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industryExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of construction materials, methods and regulations7 years experience requiredCCS experience requiredThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
