Job Description: Are you a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor with approximately 5 years of experience in the construction and development sector? Our projects are a testament to quality craftsmanship, innovation, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Cost Management: Accurately estimate and manage costs for all stages of the project life-cycle, from pre-construction to completion. Contract Administration: Oversee tender processes, procurement, and contract management, ensuring compliance with budgetary and contractual requirements. Project Reporting: Provide regular financial and progress reports to senior management, highlighting any potential risks or budget concerns. Measurement & Valuations: Perform measurements, valuations, and cost analysis for works completed and variations on-site. Client Liaison: Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring project expectations are met. Procurement: Source materials and services, liaising with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely deliveries. What Were Looking For: Experience: Approximately 5 years experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction and/or development sector. Qualifications: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar discipline. Membership with a professional body (e.g., RICS) would be an advantage. Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage complex budgets and cost structures while maintaining a sharp eye for detail. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-end development environment where precision and quality are paramount. Tech-savvy: Proficiency with quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
