Quantity Surveyor

Lexdan Select is assisting a client in the Civil & Earthworks sector with their search for a Quantity Surveyor, based in JHB.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in civil works and earthmoving projects.
In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
Proficient in estimating & budgeting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed cost estimations for civil works projects.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining compliance with company standards.
Coordinate cost-related activities, working closely with project managers and engineers to track expenses and variations.
Prepare pricing for jobs, and monitor cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and validate costs against budgets.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R30000,00 - R35000,00 per month
