Must have 3+ years' experience in consulting quantity surveying and project management.Minimal Requirements:3 plus years' experience in consulting quantity surveying and project management.Bachelor of Science / Technology in Quantity Surveying.Duties:Work on numerous minor works projects simultaneously (approx. 6 projects).Prepares Bills of quantities using WINQS.Prepares re-measurements programmes and coordinates the resources thereof.Attends site and technical meetings.Prepares and presents cost reports.Conducts pricing site instructions.Conducts project re-measurements and prepares final accounts including negotiation and close out.Conducts building audit reports.Coordinates sub-contractors' meetings with the principal building contractors.Advises on the type of contract to use, prepares tender documents in terms of the standard forms of contract.Carries out duties in accordance with the Naidu Consulting Quality Management System (QMS) and procedures in respect of Quantity Surveying.Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
