We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-orientated individual who has in interest in the Property Industry, to join our team as a full time Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our property development projects. They will be responsible for cost estimation, budget management, contract administration, and ensuring that our projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties will include, but are not limited to: Prepare and analyze cost estimates for property development projects. Manage project budgets and monitor costs throughout the project life cycle. Conduct risk and value management and cost control. Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities. Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years' proven working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Property Industry. Professional Certification (e.g. RICS, CIOB) would be preferred. Strong knowledge of property development processes, construction methods, materials and legal regulations. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in relevant software. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail. Professional. Reliable. Own transportation. Proficient in English.
