In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying process for various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects Manage and monitor project costs, including variations and claims Conduct site measurements and ensure accurate take-offs Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and execution of contractual agreements Prepare and assess tender documents and contracts Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any financial issues Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and costs Requirements Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry Bulk earthworks & road construction / Building (bonus) experience Strong proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical and numerical skills Strong negotiation and communication abilities Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Professional registration with a relevant body (optional but beneficial) Benefits Salary : R25,000 - R35,000 p/m dependence on experience Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
