Quantity Surveyor

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the construction industry.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing and controlling project costs, ensuring that all financial aspects are meticulously handled from the pre-construction phase through to completion.
Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and value management exercises.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities and contract documents.
Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
Provide regular financial reports and updates to management and stakeholders.
Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and pricing systems.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g.
WinQS, Dim X, CCS) and MS Office Suite.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
