Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry, with specific expertise in Quantity Surveying.Proficient in WinQS, Work Programme (Grant), Excel, and Word.
Experience with CCS is advantageous.BTech Degree in Quantity Surveying is essential.Project Management or Construction Management certification is a plus.Solid knowledge of construction law.Key Responsibilities:Identify opportunities and new rates.Price contract instructions and obtain client approval to avoid working at risk.Submit and cost extension of time claims as necessary.Finalize accounts with both subcontractors and clients.Liaise with the professional team.Measure and produce monthly claims and subcontractor payments.Prepare and manage labour-only subcontractor payments.Place supplier orders and control project costs/waste.Assist with cost reporting, including cash flow.Procure pricing and quotes for tenders/BOQs.Oversee subcontractor appointments.
