Quantity SurveyorHire Resolve's client, a leading construction company in Johannesburg, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality construction services to our clients and are committed to excellence in all aspects of our work.Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projectsAnalyze project drawings and specifications to identify materials, labor, and equipment requirementsConduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantitiesPrepare and evaluate tender documentsNegotiate and procure subcontractor and supplier quotationsMonitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to project teamsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutionsEnsure compliance with contract terms and conditionsPrepare and evaluate variation orders and final accountsAssist in the preparation of monthly financial reportsRequirements:A relevant technical qualification and be registered as a quantity surveyor with a minimum of 8 years' experience.Experience in Built environment projectsExperience on an engineering construction siteAn above average understanding of contract management and knowledge of various standard forms of contract in construction and engineeringWilling to work on project sitesStrong problem-solving skills including excellent and proven client engagement abilityStrong analytical skillsCommercial astutenessExperience with contractual claimsMentoring and development of young talentPrevious experience working in WinQS and DimXAbility to TravelBenefits:Salary: negotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
