Quality Technician

Quality Engineer required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha , Eastern CapeRequirements : National Diploma: Quality or National Diploma in B-Tech Quality/City & Guilds5+ years' experience in quality in an automotive environment2+ years' experience in weld inspection and evaluating within an automotive environmentIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industryRead and understand technical drawings and/or plans.Weld Inspection CertificationCore tools CertificationResponsibilities:Weld sample preparation. Cutting and polishing of the samplesRecord and maintain welding inspection results that were witnessed and prepare associated reportCalibrate and verify gauges in accordance with the documented requirementsRaising of quality awareness in terms of scrap concerns (Quality Alerts, Visual Aids)On time completion of all applicable first off, roving, and last off inspectionsUpdate and maintain the gauge calibration database.
