Quality Technician

Purpose of the job : Conduct all product measurements activities according to Metrology requirements and principles. Key Performance Areas: Measure components prior assembly analyse trial products during development or test finished goods Records and analyse the results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products Facilitate, analyse MSA studies for machine and tool capability requirements Compile quality monthly reports Update and display quality performance on all quality boards Raise purchase requisition on Syspro for quality department prepare and update quality documentation Data capturing and assist with internal policies and procedures Control and follow up on non-conforming reports Minimum qualifications: Grade 12 Formal qualification in Quality Formal qualification in Metrology Extensive knowledge and use of measuring arm equipment Minimum of 1 year in a quality department within ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 listed company
